Vermouth Moderne is the drink of the times. We made it with our friend Heiko Hoos from Pfalz in Southern Germany on the Gewürztraminer grape. It is sweet and intriguingly sour - tasting almost like a spiced grapefruit drink.
Spiced with wormwood, koriander seeds, loads of orange and citrus and cardamom.
Drink it with ice and a slice of lemon or with a dash of soda.

The Clumsy Bear Vodka is our firstborn. It is a niche spirit crafted in micro batches of 168 bottles per batch. A tribute to the Russian/Scandinavian/Asian philosophy of greatness in simplicity and humility.
Frederik Plum started this vodka after studying Russian Literature and specializing in Russian Drinking Literature (Erofeev, Vysotsky, Bulgakov, Dostoevsky, Gogol).

Poodle Head Gin is deep and intense. It is a German "new style" gin with loads of botanicals. Where the collected scents create an intriguing nose and flavour where you cannot seperate the discinctive herbs and botanicals. It is like looking in to the darkness of a deep and fascinating forest lake in Southern Germany.

The Peated Bear is made on the finest Scottish peated malt. It is a so called "white dog" or unaged whisky. Tripple destilled on small copper stills in Denmark.
Our Russian friends call it "Nordic mezcal". We call it Peated Vodka. But in reality it is an old school "burning wine" (brændevin, Danish).

Dråbens Gin

Gin geeks usually prefer the almost boring classic gins because they in all their old school simplicity produce the best gin and tonics. The simple "piny" nose and sweetnes of the alcohol makes the perfect and most refreshing of drinks.
The Drop Gin is classic and elegant with a easy twist of orange, lime and sechuan peper.

Welcome to Malard Spirits. We have collected the spirits we produce ourselves and in collaboration with some of the best small niche distilleries in Northern Europe.
We have two small spirits shops in Copenhagen (The Last Drop) and work with the best niche and craft producers. Naja is educated in geography and Frederik is educated in Russian Literature - specializing in Russian Drinking Literature. This is how our journey started - with a passion for the culture of drinking that can be seen in some of the great Russian writers (Bulgakov, Erofeev, Vysotsky, Gogol, Dostojevsky...)
Frederik started producing The Clumsy Bear Vodka which lead to Naja and Frederik opening the shop The Last Drop and later The Drop Gin, Poodle Head Gin, Phantom Spirits Rum (in collaboration with Mikkeller).
